KRUKER LAMP

Frames of the lamps are constructed from dogwood, willow and apple branches because of their availability, colour, and flexibility. These are covered with Japanese, Korean or Thai handmade papers. The paper is coated with diluted white glue to make it taut and to add to its translucency.
The joints are drilled and copper wired, or lashed with waxed linen thread.
Other models are built with a paper mulch-covered wire screen, some of which have a hand-beaten copper roof.
The lamps may be fitted for a light bulb and plug into the wall or hang from a cord, or be directly wired into a light box, depending on the design chosen.
